Position Summary
The Electrolit Hydration Team Member is responsible for bringing the Electrolit brand and products to life within local communities. They are the local face to the global brand and have the empowerment to execute unique marketing and sales activations. They love Electrolit – both the product and the brand – and are excited to share their love for it with the world. They are flexible to work when quality opportunities arise and have amazing communication skills that shine throughout all they endeavor. They use brand and product training to engage with new consumers, retail partners and local influencers to build excitement around Electrolit. Job Type: Hourly, Full-Time, Summer (16 weeks beginning May 2025)
Principal Duties
- Driving trial with new consumers, executing brand building activities, supporting sales and generally finding ways to build excitement around Electrolit
- Accurately delivers activation reports in a timely manner & be ready to share your work’s impact on the business
- Generating brand awareness through word-of-mouth marketing
- Representing Electrolit in a premium fashion aligned with the global brand
- Utilizes superior communication skills to provide samples to potential consumers and has brand + products knowledge to answer any questions
- Shares creativity and local insights with the team to inform plans and take advantage of opportunities
- Develops relationships with local sales account decision makers to support enhanced distribution opportunities via consistent store visits
- Maintains regular engagement with Field Marketing Specialist (manager) for all aspects of scheduling, training, planning, reporting and team building
- Primary job focuses; driving trial, building brand awareness and loyalty
- Transport materials to and from events
- Occasionally supports the sales team by completing store checks for proper retail execution, merchandising and sample store staff and customers as directed by management
- All other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Works well within a team dynamic and is also independently motivated to simultaneously improve themselves and the brand
· Strong interpersonal skills and an outgoing, friendly personality, and a desire to meet new people
· Strong understanding of local market area including the collegiate universe
· Be part of a broad network of influential people and groups
· Ability to work independently
· Knowledge of Electrolit brand
· Professional attitude
Qualifications
· At least 18 years of age
· Must currently be enrolled as an undergraduate at a college or university
· Willing to work flexible full-time hours, including weekend and nights
· Access to internet and phone
· Experience in retail sales is a plus
Other Requirements
· Legally authorized to work in Canada
· Reliable transportation and willing to travel 85% of the time in local market
· Valid driver license and active auto insurance policy
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand, walk, drive, occasionally lift, and carry objects (up to 40 ponds)
