Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various landscaping tasks, contributing to the maintenance and beautification of outdoor spaces. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a passion for working outdoors.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Assist in the installation of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants.
- Maintain gardens by weeding, mulching, and fertilizing as necessary.
- Build and maintain landscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge to operate various landscaping equipment.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners.
- Experience in irrigating plants and understanding of irrigation systems.
- Strong background in garden maintenance practices.
- Ability to perform landscape maintenance tasks with precision.
- Capability to dig effectively for planting or construction purposes.
- Knowledge of how to maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
