Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventative dental care, including dental cleanings, periodontal assessments, X-rays, and patient education on oral hygiene. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and provide a positive patient experience is essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings and preventive hygiene services
- Conduct oral health assessments and take dental radiographs
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and preventive treatment
- Maintain accurate clinical records and charting using dental software
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment planning when needed
- Ensure proper sterilization and infection control procedures are followed
- Manage re care appointments and support patient scheduling
- Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a comfortable patient experience
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in Ontario and in good standing
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
- Valid CPR Certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Dentrix or other dental software is considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, reliable, and patient-focused attitude

Pay: $55.00-$64.29 per hour
