Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with accounting software and financial processes, contributing to accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning. Duties
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and other relevant tools
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes ensuring timely payments and collections
- Conduct account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Month end closing for listed company in Korea.
- Perform bookkeeping tasks including ledger management, journal entries, and data entry
- Assist with auditing processes by preparing documentation and supporting schedules for internal and external audits
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Analyze accounts for discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly
- Support budgeting activities by preparing forecasts, variance analysis, and financial reports
- Conduct account analysis to identify trends, variances, or potential areas for cost savings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial services projects and provide insights for strategic decision-making
- Reporting to various tax authorities including but not limited to T2
- To support audit process
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role with a strong understanding of corporate finance principles
- Korean/English bilingual is a MUST
- Work experience in listed large corporation is preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, and other relevant platforms
- Extensive knowledge of bookkeeping, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, auditing, payroll, and account analysis
- Familiarity with financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA certification is a plus
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and accounting systems

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $61,097.73-$70,000.00 per year
