Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscaper/Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various outdoor landscaping projects, maintaining green spaces, and supporting construction and maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, a strong work ethic, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment. Prior experience in horticulture or landscape maintenance is a plus but not required; training will be provided for specific tasks. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in gardening, irrigation, and landscape construction within a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, planting, and fertilizing
- Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes to support landscaping projects
- Use power tools safely for tasks like edging, trimming, and small construction projects
- Support installation of irrigation systems and ensure proper functioning of watering systems
- Operate machinery such as excavators and other mechanical equipment as needed
- Support construction activities including site preparation, grading, and material handling
- Maintain cleanliness of work sites and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
- Perform general labour tasks including lifting, digging, hauling materials, and site cleanup
Skills
- Experience with excavation equipment such as excavators is a plus
- Strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices and construction processes
- Mechanical knowledge related to tools and machinery operation and troubleshooting
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Good physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labour in outdoor conditions
- Basic knowledge of plant care, soil management, and environmental sustainability practices is desirable
- Ability to follow instructions carefully while working independently or as part of a team

Pay: $16.00-$23.00 per hour
