Bergo Kids is looking for energetic, outgoing Part-Time Sales Associates to help bring the fun to life!
Bergo Kids is an exciting new destination in Toronto's Distillery District, filled with toys, collectibles, games, plush, and unique finds for everyone. Designed to spark imagination, curiosity, and a little nostalgia, we're creating a fun and welcoming shopping experience where kids can discover something new, collectors can hunt for their next favourite item, and adults can reconnect with the joy of being a kid. Whether you're shopping for the perfect gift or treating yourself, we want every visit to be memorable.
We're looking for people who are excited to be part of something new from the very beginning. If you're a kid at heart, love toys, collectibles, novelty items, and creating memorable experiences for customers, we'd love to meet you.
About the Role
As a Part-Time Sales Associate, you'll report to our Team Leads and play an important role in creating an exciting, welcoming, and energetic atmosphere for every customer who walks through our doors.
Whether you're helping a child discover their new favourite toy, chatting with collectors about the latest arrivals, building eye-catching displays, or keeping the store looking incredible, you'll be an essential part of bringing the Bergo Kids experience to life.
No two days will be the same, and that's exactly how we like it.
What You'll Do
- Create fun, engaging, and memorable experiences for every customer.
- Welcome families, kids, collectors, and gift shoppers with enthusiasm and genuine excitement.
- Learn about our wide variety of toys, games, collectibles, plush, novelty gifts, and seasonal products to confidently make recommendations.
- Help customers find the perfect gift or something they'll absolutely love.
- Keep displays full, organized, exciting, and visually appealing.
- Assist with receiving shipments, inventory management, and restocking merchandise.
- Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment.
- Work together with Team Leads and fellow associates to achieve sales and operational goals.
- Bring positive energy every shift and help create a workplace that's fun, supportive, and full of excitement.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Is a kid at heart and enjoys making people smile.
- Has previous retail or customer service experience (an asset, but not required).
- Naturally connects with people of all ages and enjoys creating positive experiences.
- Brings enthusiasm, creativity, and high energy to work every day.
- Is dependable, proactive, and enjoys working as part of a team.
- Learns quickly and enjoys discovering new products.
- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment while staying organized and detail-oriented.
- Is available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and busy seasonal periods.
