Grounds Maintenance Technician
We are a well-established Vegetation Management company providing services to Alberta's energy sector. We are currently seeking experienced Grounds Maintenance Technicians to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining customer sites in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. Duties include, but are not limited to:
July - August - September - October - November
- Operating riding and zero-turn mowers
- Operating walk-behind mowers
- Using string trimmers, edgers, and backpack blowers
- Performing general site cleanup and maintenance
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring work sites meet our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction
We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and attention to detail. Previous landscape or vegetation management experience is highly valued.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of grounds maintenance experience preferred
- Proven ability to safely and effectively operate commercial mowing and small engine equipment
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including prolonged walking, bending, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance/Criminal Record Check
- Ability to successfully complete pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing as required
- Reliable personal transportation to and from our shop is required

- H2S Alive
- Standard First Aid/CPR
- Confined Space Entry
- WHMIS
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
- CSTS
- PST

Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
