Green Ideas Landscaping Design LTD is a design-build landscaping company providing high-end residential landscaping services throughout the HRM. We are looking for candidates WITH HARDSCAPING EXPERIENCE to join our 2026 team.

HARDSCAPER POSITION - Plenty of work perks!
- $21.00-$27.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Paid 30 min. lunch + 2 x 15 min. breaks

You’ll be:
- Hardscaping patios/retaining walls/etc. with associated excavation
- Participating in maintenance/softscaping as needed
- Representing GILD in a professional and respectful manner at all times to clients, vendors and employees
- Following plans and industry standards
- Moving heavy materials and tools
- Operating power tools and equipment
- Ensuring safety and quality control for all aspects of a project
- Performing related duties, as assigned
- Working approx. 40-50 hrs / week, Monday - Friday
- Operating April - December/end of season (no snow removal)
Daily POV:
You head to the meeting spot in Spryfield to catch a ride to the site. By 7:30am you’re on site prepping a base for a pre-cast patio or wall, grading for sod and prepping beds might be on the list too - get out your green thumb. Pitch in to help tidy up the site before wrapping up around 4:30pm.
Are you a candidate? Yes!
You are physically fit, enjoy working in the great outdoors, and are motivated to do a good job! Your role will involve hands-on physical labour, taking instruction from a supervisor, heavy lifting, handling Nova Scotia’s wild weather, and being a reliable part of the GILD team. Experience is an asset, and excitement for learning is a must have.
