We are looking for an experienced Carpenter / Framer to join our growing team in Central Alberta. Our work includes framing large custom homes, as well as custom decks, siding, fences, general carpentry, and occasional finishing work.
The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who can work independently when required, while also working alongside a small framing crew to deliver high-quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential framing and carpentry work on custom home projects.
- Work independently and efficiently when required.
- Collaborate with crew members to maintain productivity and quality standards.
- Read and interpret building plans and specifications.
- Assist with the construction of custom homes, decks, fences, siding installations, and finishing tasks.
- Maintain a safe and organized worksite.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and to a high standard.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential framing and carpentry.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices and jobsite safety.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience working with a crew in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel throughout the Central Alberta region, with most work located in the Gull Lake area.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered numbered company preferred.
- Own basic hand tools and PPE.
- Experience with custom home construction, decks, siding, and finishing work.
