Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting building materials, lighting fixtures, and renovation supplies with confidence and expertise
- Engage in outside sales efforts by proactively reaching out to contractors, interior designers, and retail clients to grow business opportunities
- Utilize POS systems for accurate cash handling, sales processing, inventory management, and stock replenishment
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure stock levels are optimal for customer convenience
- Collaborate with team members on marketing initiatives and promotional activities to attract new customers and retain existing ones
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales or inside sales within the construction, renovation industry is preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation, upselling, and account management to foster long-term customer relationships
- Familiarity with remodeling projects, maintenance procedures, and construction materials
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for merchandising, stock management, and customer service documentation
- Basic math skills for retail math calculations including pricing, discounts, and inventory counts
- Ability to operate POS systems efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and cashiering duties
