Production Manager - Ancillary Facility
The Company
Southampton Industrial designs and manufactures custom HVAC equipment and control panels for industrial, commercial and institutional applications. The company is currently seeking an individual to fill the key role of Production Manager at its ancillary manufacturing facility.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree with a minimum of five years experience managing a custom manufacturing facility. Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience manufacturing HVAC equipment or metal structures.

Responsibilities
Some of the responsibilities associated with the position are:
- manufacture equipment in accordance with the company's ISO 9001:2015 quality management system and project-specific specifications
- manage warehouse, components supply chain and inventory levels
- ensure all trades are operating optimally and implement opportunities to improve efficiency and improve quality
- manage production schedule
- communicate manufacturing priorities to staff and other departments
- manage manufacturing resources to ensure shipping deadlines are met
- operate custom project management software
- identify needs for training and/or additional staff
- ensure tools and machines are calibrated and maintained according to specifications
- participate in safety and quality meetings and initiatives
- identify new methods and equipment to improve efficiency and quality
- present initiatives for process improvements
