Valiquette Academy Foundation is a registered Canadian charity committed to helping children reach their full academic and personal potential through high-quality educational programmes.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging English Teacher to join our Saturday academic programme.
Position
Students are grouped by ability and grade level to create interactive, enjoyable learning environments.
The Director will initially teach alongside the successful candidate before the teacher assumes responsibility for their own classes.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons.
- Foster a positive and encouraging classroom environment.
- Support students with reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension.
- Provide additional assistance to students when required.
- Monitor student progress and adapt instruction accordingly.
Qualifications
- Experience teaching or tutoring English is preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Enjoys working with children.
- Creative, patient, energetic, and dependable.
- Passion for education and helping students succeed.
