General Maintenance Worker / Landscaping Crew Lead
Full-Time | Seasonal Overtime Available
Location: Saint John area
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Maintenance Worker with experience in landscaping, property maintenance, and snow removal operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and leading crews in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform general property and grounds maintenance
- Perform general carpentry repairs and maintenance
- Lawn care, trimming, edging, planting, and seasonal clean-up
- Snow removal operations including shoveling, salting, sanding, and plowing
- Operate landscaping and snow removal equipment safely and efficiently
- Supervise and coordinate small landscaping or snow removal crews when required
- Complete routine inspections and basic maintenance of equipment
- Minor plumbing or electrical assessments and/or repairs
- Ensure work sites remain safe, clean, and professional
Qualifications
- Experience in landscaping and general maintenance required
- Experience operating equipment such as skid steers, tractors, loaders, plow trucks, or similar machinery
- Valid driver’s licence required
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Supervisor or crew lead experience in landscaping and snow removal considered a strong asset
- Mechanical aptitude considered an asset
