Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing customer orders accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas following food safety guidelines.
- Assist with serving food and beverages to customers promptly and courteously.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Follow time management practices to complete tasks efficiently within designated time frames.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling and safety practices is essential.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
