Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Physiotherapist or Resident Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy treatments to promote patient recovery and improve mobility. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment, providing high-quality patient care across various settings including hospital, acute care, and pediatrics. The position is paid and suitable for licensed professionals or those in the process of completing their residency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement physiotherapy interventions to aid recovery, improve mobility, and reduce pain.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, injury prevention, and health maintenance strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and medical terminology guidelines during all procedures.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with advances in physiotherapy practices.
- Experience in WSIB, MVA claims documentations (If needed, Training is provided by Physio on board)
Requirements
- Valid registration as a Physiotherapist or current enrollment in a residency program with eligibility for license.
- Experience working with pediatric patients and Geriatric care is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and patient care.
- Excellent patient care skills with compassionate communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and continuous learning in physiotherapy practices.

Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
