We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and safety-focused Seasonal Dump Truck Driver to support our construction operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for hauling materials and assisting with site operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Class 3 dump trucks safely and efficiently.
- Haul materials to and from construction job sites.
- Perform proper loading, securing, tarping, and unloading procedures.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and promptly report maintenance issues.
- Perform standard daily equipment maintenance, including inspections, fluid checks, and greasing.
- Follow all company policies, transportation regulations, and safety procedures.
- Assist with general labour duties when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class 3A Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract.
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating tandem dump trucks.
- Strong awareness and skill when backing, maneuvering, and working in active construction zones.
- Reliable, professional, and committed to safe work practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Assets
- Experience operating wheel loaders and loading tandem trucks.
- Experience operating construction water trucks and pumps.
- Experience operating construction rollers.
- Experience operating articulated 6-wheel-drive off-road trucks.
