Entry-Level Site Labourer / Renovation Helper

Wage: $22/hour
Hours: 35–40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, daytime hours
Varsity Contracting & Renovations is looking for an entry-level site labourer / renovation helper to join our residential renovation team.
This position is best suited for someone who is reliable, physically capable, and willing to learn, but who understands that the immediate need is for site labour support. Experience is an asset, but not required. A good attitude, consistency, and respect for clients’ homes are most important.
Duties Include
- Site setup, protection, and cleanup
- Demolition support
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials
- Keeping tools, trailers, and job sites organized
- Assisting carpenters, trades, and senior team members
- Basic renovation support tasks as directed
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

- Willing to do cleanup, carrying, prep work, and general labour
- Interested in learning residential renovations from the ground up
- Able to work well with a small team
This is an entry-level labour position. There may be room to grow over time if the workload increases and the right person shows strong fit, reliability, and skill development, but the current need is for dependable daily site labour help.
Requirements
- CSA-approved work boots
- Reliable transportation preferred
- Basic hand tools are an asset
- Construction or renovation experience is an asset but not required
