Construction Labourer
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team for the summer. This position involves assisting with a variety of residential and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Out-of-town travel will be required for some projects.
Responsibilities:
- Move and organize construction materials on job sites
- Clean and maintain safe, organized work areas
- Assist with assembly and installation of materials
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Load and unload tools, equipment, and supplies
- Support skilled tradespeople as needed
- Follow company safety procedures and site regulations
- Travel to out-of-town job sites when required
Requirements:
- Construction experience is an asset, but willing to train the right candidate
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Physically able to lift heavy materials and perform labour-intensive tasks
- Valid driver’s license is preferred
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Willingness to travel and occasionally stay out of town
