Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and safety across various facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to perform custodial tasks efficiently. This role is essential in ensuring a hygienic environment that meets health and safety standards, contributing to the overall satisfaction of clients and staff.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning of commercial and residential, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal
- Use hand tools and power tools for deep cleaning tasks and minor maintenance as needed
- Conduct custodial duties in accordance with established safety protocols
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or equipment during cleaning operations
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage of equipment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding cleaning schedules and any issues encountered
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally
Experience
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred, but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks is a plus
- Experience using hand tools and power tools for cleaning or minor repairs is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently during cleaning routines
