Key responsibilities:
Demonstrate a high-level of accuracy & urgency in the Warehouse
Prepare and move finished products – palletizing, shrink-wrapping, boxing, labelling
Operate a Forklift & pallet jacks
Maintain a clean and organized work space
Follow Warehouse Policies & Procedures
Follow Warehouse Health and Safety guidelines
A variety of tasks will be required throughout the shift – including receiving, shipping, packing, cleaning, sorting
Receiving:
physically unload boxes from shipping containers, palletize them and shrink wrap to a high-standard
drive fork lifts and can help you get your license
match and record the paperwork to the contents inside of container to ensure accuracy
Shipping:
Pick orders accurately and efficiently
Package finished product for shipping (wrap pallets, labelling, repack)
Efficiently prepare outbound shipments in order to minimize truck dock time.
Complete daily records as and when required.
Coordinate with logistics team for BOL & other paperwork
Qualifications:
Must be in good physical condition
High School or equivalent experience and exceptional ability
Able to repetitively lift and move heavy boxes (up to 50lbs)
Warehouse experience in high-volume, food-service, distribution or logistics or equivalent experience is an asset
Forklift and pallet jack experience is an asset
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Great work ethic, high initiative, self-motivation and positive attitude
Ability to multi-task, time management skills, detail-oriented
Effective problem solving skills
