Hearing Instrument Specialist
Full-Time Hearing Instrument Specialist – Lindsay, Bobcaygeon, Fenelon Falls & Bancroft, ON
Salary: $60,000 – $75,000 per year + comprehensive benefit plan
We are seeking a full-time Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) to join our established and growing hearing healthcare practice serving Central Ontario. This role offers a strong clinical focus, a supportive team environment, and access to modern diagnostic and fitting technology.
Responsibilities
- Hearing assessments and screening
- Hearing aid evaluation, selection, fitting, and dispensing
- Real ear verification (AudioScan Verifit)
- Follow-up care, counselling, and patient education
- Cerumen management
- Ongoing patient care and device maintenance
Qualifications
- Registered (or eligible for registration) with the Association of Hearing Instrument Practitioners of Ontario (AHIP)
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Experience preferred; new graduates welcome
