General Industrial Labourer — E Industrial NS
About the role
E Industrial NS is hiring a General Construction Labourer to join our team. This is a hands-on position supporting on-site crews with material handling, cleanup, and general labour. No formal certification required — we're looking for reliable people who want to learn and grow with us.
What you'll do
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials, tools, and equipment
- Assist tradespeople and lead hands with day-to-day tasks
- Keep work areas clean, tidy, and safe
- Operate basic hand and power tools under direction
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Take on new tasks and training as skills develop
What we're looking for
- Able to speak, read, and understand English
- Able to follow simple verbal and written instructions
- Reliable — shows up on time, every scheduled shift
- Some experience using hand and power tools
- Willing to learn new skills and take direction
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for a full shift
- Comfortable working in a shop and outdoor environment year-round
- Safety-minded and a team player
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
This job is evenings and weekend based. There could be some opportunities for work through the week but it will primarily be Monday to Friday 4pm-8pm, Saturday and Sunday 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
