Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook breakfast dishes according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure all food is cooked to the proper temperature and presentation quality
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing work surfaces and utensils
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
- Serve breakfast items promptly to ensure timely service for guests
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant kitchen roles, preferably with breakfast or brunch menus
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Strong skills in meal preparation, cooking techniques, and serving hot foods efficiently
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality presentation
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is highly desirable
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting pots or trays as needed
- A positive attitude, teamwork-oriented mindset, and reliability are essential for success in this role
Pay: $17.60-$25.00 per hour
