Applications are invited for the temporary part-time position of Recruitment Associate – On-Campus in the Student Recruitment division. The starting salary is $28.01/hr for a 24 hour work week. Additional hours may be required at peak times during the year such as start or end of term. The position is located at both the Welland and Daniel J. Patterson Campus depending on activity levels.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Student Recruitment Engagement, the Recruitment Associate delivers recruitment services and information to prospective student leads and applicants. This role is assigned a variety of recruitment activities to execute related to both online and on campus engagement and conversion (online chats, leading tours, email communication, one on one discussions). The successful candidate may also be required to assist with large scale events on and off campus as needed such as Open House as well as the College Information Program.

Ensuring the accurate and timely collection of prospective student and influencer data into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System, as well as data entry and maintenance to ensure accuracy

Planning and coordinating individual tour logistics with external interested parties to meet tour expectations and maintain alignment with overall recruitment strategy

Collaborating with internal college departments to process recruitment tour requests, ensuring timely completion

Responsible for engaging attendees and delivering key messaging about all program areas, application processes and services offered

Assisting in coordinating logistical support for small and large-scale events on-campus, including planning, set up, and execution

Collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team environment while also demonstrating the capability to work autonomously when necessary

Providing support to the recruitment team by maintaining inventory levels of assets and consumables, ensuring availability for recruitment activities

Minimum 1 year certificate in any field of study

Minimum 2 years customer service and/or sales related experience

Experience in an educational institution is considered an asset

Strong communication and customer service skills

Experience planning logistics, coordinating schedules, managing set-ups and event support

Familiarity with CRM platforms used for student recruitment and engagement

Strong attention to detail
