Overview
OK Tire North Shore is looking for 2 skilled Tire Technicians to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive tire services. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring safety and performance of out customers' vehicles by providing high-quality tire services, including installation rotation, repairs, alignment and maintenance. This is a 3.5 month temporary fixed-contract role from September - mid December 2026.
Duties
- Perform tire rotations, repairs, swaps, mount & balance and install tires with precision and care.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Lift heavy tires and equipment as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Organize and move tires to support tire storage program.
- Assist with lot management by moving & parking vehicles throughout the day.
- Conduct thorough inspections of tires for wear, age, damage, or defects and communicate to Service Advisor.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
Experience
- Prior experience with automotive tire services.
- Familiarity with automotive maintenance procedures related to tires and wheels.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while adhering to safety standards.
- Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship is an asset not required
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
