Overview
We are looking for a Baker to join our team. The candidate will assist in baking focaccia breads, dough handling and food preparation. The Baker will work closely with the staff to ensure bread supply. The shift is a Sunday and Monday from 6 am to 3 pm.
Responsibilities
- Bake bread and manage ovens
- Prepare bread dough
- Bake and prepare brownies and cookies
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as portioning, marinating, and organizing ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep station, storage area and dish area
- Support staff during busy periods by providing baked goods promptly
- Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supplies needed
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations and safety standards
Skills
- Experience in baking, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Strong understanding of the food industry and kitchen operations
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
