We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team for our Ontario branch. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with clients, provide tailored technical solutions, and contribute to the growth of our company.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate quotations and process customer orders for hydraulic, industrial, PTFE, sanitary, flexible metal hose assemblies, expansion joints, and related fluid conveyance products
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries regarding product selection, pricing, availability, lead times, and order status
- Recommend appropriate hoses, fittings, adapters, clamps, quick disconnects, valves, and related products based on customer applications
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities to grow sales and expand product offerings
- Promote Flex-Pression's complete product line and cross-sell complementary products and services
- Work closely with outside sales, production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and on-time delivery
- Follow up on quotations and proactively develop new business opportunities
- Maintain accurate customer information, pricing, and sales activities within the ERP system
- Assist with product sourcing, inventory recommendations, warranty claims, and issue resolution to ensure customer satisfaction
- Perform other duties as required to support the branch and sales team.
Requirements
- Experience in customer service
- Metal product, hydraulic and industrial experience preferred
- Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to express ideas clearly orally and in writing
- Be professional and organized
- Have a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
- Results-oriented
- Have a college diploma in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or automation and controls (an asset)
