Reporting to the Director, National Pricing, this position will be responsible for collecting, tracking and updating supplier cost fields in the ERP system. Working closely with procurement and product directors, the incumbent will work on ensuring costs fields are accurate. This position requires commitment to creating accurate data and costs.
What you will accomplish with us:
- Use tracking system to document notifications and for managing supplier cost increases.
- Manage analyses of cost increases, communication with purchasing department.
- Coordinate cost updates to the ERP system.
- Develop close working relationships with suppliers and buyers.
- Work on ad-hoc supplier cost projects to compare costs and provide analysis on best solutions.
- Communicate cost increases to relevant internal teams and provide information on inflation by vendor or brand line.
- Monitor markup structure – List to Standard cost, and escalate to Pricing Analyst for review
- Audit replacement cost and standard to ensure they’re in line with what is expected.
- Handle cost inquiries.
What You Bring to Our Team:
- A self-starter, change agent who can proactively drive continuous improvement.
- Good communication skills with a proven ability to interact with colleagues at all levels of the company.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment including analytical, administrative, and tactical execution as required.
- Comprehensive understanding of distribution, including the impacts of accurate cost and product segmentation.
- University Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three to five years’ experience in a similar position
