The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience working on a variety of construction sites, and alongside other skilled trades persons. Class 1 or 3 Driver's License is an asset.
Must be able to work independently in an efficient and safe manner, with an eye for detail in and around the working area. Critical thinking is necessary.
Must be able to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
This position will begin immediately with a 1-week training period followed by a 2-month probation period.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 10 years experience operating excavators and skid steers
Class Driver's License (clean driver's abstract is required)
Experience towing a trailer in and around cities
Thorough knowledge of the safe operation of above equipment
Ability to work continuously for prolonged periods of time under pressure
Ability to work independently and with little supervision
Willingness and ability to work part-time or extended hours and weekends
Must be able to identify hazards and perform the role in a safe manner
Must possess an understanding of the issues regarding public safety and the ability to implement safe work practices, while contributing to a safe work environment
CERTIFICATIONS:
Valid Class 3 license or higher with a clean drivers abstract (proof) Class 1 an asset
Valid Ground Disturbance Level 2 or Supervisory
Clean Criminal Record Check (proof)
