Overview
We are seeking a customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves engaging with customers, providing advice on our products, and ensuring an excellent shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills, be organized, and have knowledge of building materials.
Duties
- Assist customers in selecting products and provide knowledgeable recommendations based on their needs
- Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Manage inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
- Handle customer inquiries
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Utilize communication skills to engage with customers
Requirements
- Experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service roles
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of building supplies
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Pay: $16.00-$26.27 per hour
