Now Hiring: Part-Time Instructors – Little Kitchen Academy Edgemont
Little Kitchen Academy Edgemont is looking for kind, enthusiastic, and reliable part-time Instructors who love working with children, have a passion for nutrition, and feel confident in the kitchen cooking and baking.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll be teaching life skills and food literacy to children ages 3 through their teens—while having fun and making a meaningful impact!
Schedule Availability:
- Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available
- Must be available to work at least one day in a weekend
- Must be available to work full-time during Summer Break: June 29 - September 4
This is a seasonal business, with increased hours during school closures, including Spring Break, Summer Holidays, and Winter Break.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children (listed on your resume)
- Cooking or kitchen experience (listed on your resume)
- Fluency in written and spoken English is necessary to carry out lesson plans
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Able to be on your feet for 4+ hours and handle some heavy lifting
- Willing to obtain or already have:
- FoodSafe Certification
- Criminal Record Check
- First Aid/CPR/AED Training
Job Duties Include (but are not limited to):
- Teaching food literacy and life skills through hands-on cooking classes
- Supporting students and assisting the Lead Instructor
- Helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
- Opening and closing duties (including dishes, cleaning, organizing, and putting away supplies)

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
