Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Hairstylist Apprentice to join our dynamic salon team. This entry-level position offers a valuable opportunity to learn and develop professional hair styling skills under the guidance of experienced stylists. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty and customer service, along with a desire to grow within the industry. As a Hairstylist Apprentice, you will assist with client services, gain hands-on experience in hair styling techniques, and contribute to creating a welcoming salon environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior stylists with hair cutting, coloring, and styling services.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients and addressing their needs
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards in all work areas and tools
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide professional advice
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential
- Basic knowledge of hair styling, sanitation practices, and salon operations is advantageous
- A genuine interest in learning hairdressing techniques and building a career as a professional stylist
- Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude throughout the workday
