As an Advertising Product Specialist, you will be a member of the Atelier La Presse team, responsible for offering advertisers the best and most effective solutions for reaching their customers.
Reporting to the Director of Programmatic Sale, you will work closely with our Sales Team, Ad Tech, Ad Operations, Ad Production, and Sales Analytics groups to maximize and optimize revenue and utilization of Data/Programmatic and Audience products across all of the La Presse platforms in a highly collaborative environment.
The Advertising Product Specialist will possess a complementary blend of business analysis, sales and presentation skills along with operations, and technical expertise. This candidate is a team player but also possesses strong independent thinking and problem-solving skills, passionate about data and revenue. Your challenges
- Work closely with the sales teams and our clients to formulate sales strategies that are consistent with client goals and objectives – leading to increased client solutions and incremental Data/Programmatic and AI revenue
- Maximize performance and solidify relationships to exceed revenue and margin goals for the Toronto Team
- Assist with setup and management of new product launches and client kick off calls
- Contribute to the evolution of overall revenue strategy with a lens on Data/Programmatic and AI
- Monitor and maintain ad quality across our portfolio
- Collaborate across departments to build and test custom ad revenue programs
- Further the development of existing reporting tools and create new tools to optimize and test product changes and revenue impacts
- Design metrics and build, monitor and maintain dashboards to track key monetization metrics for executives
- Assist with financial budgeting and regularly scheduled forecasting
What we need
- Bachelor's degree in business, media, mathematics, science, technical field or equivalent experience preferred
- 2-4 years experience working with a Publisher, Ad Agency, Ad Tech Vendor is preferred
- Proven track record of performance with Sales, Yield Management, and/or Ad Operations
- Keen understanding and experience adtech platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills complemented by firm data management and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, follow through and interpersonal skills
- Experience building revenue models and use of data visualization
- Ability to understand complex systems and processes
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
