Overview
Speedside Mclean is an established all-season maintenance company servicing Guelph and surrounding areas. We are currently recruiting a general shop and yard labourer to assist with the maintenance of our fleet of tractors, loaders, trucks, and salters.
General Maintenance and labouring tasks include but not limited to:
- Cleaning machinery
- Pressure washing
- Interior detailing
- Preparation for painting machinery
- Touching up machinery painting
- General hop and yard cleanup
- Loading, unloading, moving of materials, equipment, etc
- Working outside in varying weather conditions year round
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
- Collaborate with team members to load & unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety procedures
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with heavy equipment operation is highly advantageous
The ideal candidate would exhibit characteristics such as:
- Attention to detail
- The ability to work independently
- The ability to use power tools safely
- Tolerance for repetitive tasks
We are looking for the right candidate for our team. Varying degrees of experience are welcomed. The wage range for the position is $20 - $23 / hr based on experience and ability. We are willing to work with a candidate with varying availability to accommodate part time or full-time hours.
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
