About the Role
Total Transload Services is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Control Room Operator to oversee the daily operation of our automated bulk material handling facility. Working from our control room, you will monitor equipment through our HMI/SCADA system, coordinate product movement, and communicate with field operators to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the facility using HMI/SCADA systems.
- Coordinate railcar unloading, truck loading, and material transfers.
- Monitor equipment performance and respond to alarms.
- Complete production reports and operational documentation.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance.
- Communicate with operations, dispatch, and drivers throughout the shift.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and standard operating practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, logistics, or bulk material handling is an asset.
- Strong computer and communication skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
