Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Installer/Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar energy systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong Solar technical background, hands-on experience and preferably in the electrical trade. Duties
- Install solar panels, racking systems, and electrical components according to project specifications and safety standards
- Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, wiring, and securing solar components
- Perform electrical work including AC and DC wiring, system testing, and troubleshooting
- Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement of solar arrays and equipment
- Ensure all installations comply with local codes, safety regulations, and company policies
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on installed systems to ensure longevity and efficiency
- Maintain a clean and organized work site throughout each project
Experience
- Must have experience with working at heights and operating manlifts, bucket trucks, and rigging gear
- Electrical experience related to wiring and system troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools used in construction or electrical work
- Prior experience working on renewable energy or solar installation projects is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to electrical work and working at heights
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
