Responsibilities

- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for residents or clients
- Monitor health status, report changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or supervisors
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation
Skills
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care environments is highly desirable
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on dignity, respect, and compassion
- Knowledge of dementia care, disability support, senior care, and hospice practices
- Ability to perform caregiving tasks such as meal preparation, medication administration, and light housekeeping
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare teams
- Familiarity with health and safety protocols related to caregiving environments
