About the Opportunity
Our client, Union Hearing Aid Centre (UHAC), is seeking an organized and client focused Administrative Coordinator to join their team on a 12-month maternity leave contract. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, managing multiple priorities, and working in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Conveniently located in downtown Toronto, the office is easily accessible by TTC
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient support programs and third-party funding applications
- Assist patients with financial assistance inquiries and follow-ups
- Maintain accurate client records and update internal systems
- Support invoicing, payment tracking, and general office administration
- Liaise with government programs, manufacturers, and external partners
- Assist with documentation, submissions, and audit preparation
- Manage office supplies, online portals, and administrative processes
- Provide exceptional client service and assist with front desk support as needed
- Collaborate with clinicians and internal team members to ensure a positive patient experience
What You Bring
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in healthcare, administration, or client service is an asset
- Knowledge of government assistance programs is considered an asset

Founded in 1922, Union Hearing Aid Center was the first hearing aid office in Toronto. Now, over 100 years later, the practice has grown to include 20 staff members, including Audiologists, Hearing Instrument Specialists and dedicated support staff who help service over 17,000 satisfied patients.
