Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient full-time Barista/Cashier to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing quality beverages, and managing cashier responsibilities in a fast-paced food service environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and light food items according to company standards.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately processing transactions and handling cash and card payments.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces.
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
- Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
Experience
- Previous experience as a barista or in the food service industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous.
- Experience in serving, cashiering, or food preparation is beneficial.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is desirable. This role requires a dedicated individual committed to delivering quality service in a dynamic environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Pay: $37.20-$38.67 per hour
