Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced individual to oversee daily operations at our locksmith storefront. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of locksmith services, and excellent customer service abilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the store/shop, handling the walk in traffic and answering calls, preparing jobs for the service technicians, supervising and scheduling service technicians, managing inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily shop activities, including service delivery and workflow management
- Manage inventory of tools, locks, keys, and supplies to ensure availability for all jobs
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and service quality
- Handle customer inquiries, estimate job costs, and resolve any service issues promptly
- Join the on-call rotation for our after-hours emergency service - (on call one week per month) after probation and training period is completed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a fast paced environment
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a retail or service environment preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work with a team effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Ability to work with tools and work with your hands
- Basic computer skills (POS systems, scheduling software)
- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently and accurately
- Valid driver’s license is required for mobility or supply runs
