Seeking a Composite Fabricator/Composite Technician to perform repair, fabrication, modification, removal, and installation of composite components and assemblies. Role requires knowledge of composite materials, basic metalworking, and attention to detail to meet quality and project requirements.
Pay Rate: $21.15/hour (40 hours per week)
Location: Markham, ON
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 4 pm to 2 am (Friday, Saturday and Sunday OFF)
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and manufacturer instructions.
- Laminate, vacuum bag, and cure composite materials.
- Assemble and fit components, substructures, and honeycomb cores.
- Perform structural bonding of metallic and composite materials.
- Ensure project timelines, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Support team members with guidance and training as needed.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience with composite fabrication and basic metalworking.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools, measuring instruments, and sanding/grinding equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow material specifications.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of Windows applications.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
