Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to inventory management, shipping, and receiving. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
Duties
- Perform hose testing and certification
- Use hydraulic crimp equipment to build new hose assemblies
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks loading and unloading materials.
- Utilize RF scanners for inventory tracking and order picking.
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, ensuring all items are accurately processed.
- Maintain organization within the warehouse to facilitate efficient operations.
- Assist in materials handling, including heavy lifting as necessary.
- Follow OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to meet operational goals.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform basic mechanical maintenance as needed.
- Perform occasional deliveries
Skills
- Experience in warehouse distribution and management systems is preferred.
- Proficient in order picking and using various equipment such as forklifts.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate heavy machinery safely.
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving processes and materials handling techniques.
- Ability to lift heavy loads consistently throughout the shift.
- Drivers license need it
