Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team! If you have a great attitude, take pride in your work, and enjoy building cool stuff in a safe and positive environment then we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Reliably show up to work on time
- Able to work productively as a team member or alone
- Engage in heavy lifting as needed
- Physically able to climb ladders and perform manual labor
- Able to read a tape measure confidently and communicate confidently
Skills:
- Experience in wood frame construction an asset
- Experience with concrete is an asset
- Basic knowledge of new construction and renovation principles
- Able to think ahead and plan work from beginning to end
- Create take-offs and schedules
- Able to work at heights and on roofs safely
Some work is out of town in which case room and board would be provided.
