Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. We are ready and willing to consider a person with disability for this position.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support the efficient operation of our projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Perform a wide range of renovation and construction tasks, including carpentry, drywall installation and finishing, tiling, flooring, and painting.
- Perform outdoor tasks, including basic landscaping, concrete works, retaining wall construction, and pathway leveling and maintenance.
- Install accessibility solutions such as grab bars, ramps, barrier-free showers, and widened doorways.
- Adhere to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to ensure work is completed to specifications and timelines.
- Inspect and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean and in safe working order.
- Follow occupational health and safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a general tradesman or in a related role (minimum of 3 years preferred).
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, with knowledge of various construction techniques.
- Familiarity with BC Building Code.
- Ability to read and interpret simple technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation is an asset.
- First Aid certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in varying indoor and outdoor environments.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions, kneel, crouch, and stand for extended periods.
