Job Overview
We are seeking experienced AZ Drivers or Driver Teams to join our transportation fleet. This role involves safely transporting freight across various routes while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and vehicle maintenance, with a focus on delivering exceptional service efficiently and securely.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and freight vehicles in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Safely load, secure, and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle operability
- Assist with the operation of heavy equipment when required for loading or unloading cargo
Requirements
- Valid AZ Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related roles
- Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, and perform basic automotive repairs is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations governing commercial transportation
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks and perform vehicle inspections
- Prior experience with freight handling and heavy equipment operation is preferred
Pay: $17.20-$35.87 per hour
