This role is ideal for an experienced dental receptionist who is organized, proactive, confident, and enjoys building relationships with patients.

What you'll do:
- scheduling and coordinating patient appointments efficiently
- maintain a productive and full appointment schedule
- proactively fill openings and optimize the daily schedule
- create and explain treatment plans to patients with confidence and clarity
- translate dental terminology into language patients can understand
- prepare and submit insurance preauthorizations electronically and manually
- process insurance claims accurately
- understand and interpret dental benefit plans and explain to patients their coverage
- maintain a strong and current understanding of the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) including: claim processes, limitations, and coordination of benefits
- provide outstanding customer service in person and over the phone
- handle patient inquiries professionally and compassionately
- contribute to a positive and team-oriented workplace culture
We require:
- previous dental reception experience in Canada
- strong knowledge of all dental insurance plans and claim processing
- Experience creating treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements
- Experience drafting and submitting preauthorizations
- A self-motivated person with initiative to keep the schedule full
- Experience with Tracker software is an asset
