Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing front desk operations with efficiency and a friendly demeanor. This role requires excellent communication skills, familiarity with dental and medical terminology, and proficiency in dental office management software such as Abeldent. The Dental Receptionist will ensure smooth patient flow, accurate record-keeping, and provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using Abeldent
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle patient inquiries and appointment requests
- Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records accurately
- Collect payments and process billing transactions efficiently at the front desk
- Maintain organized patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist patients with forms, paperwork, and other administrative needs
- Answer questions regarding treatments, insurance coverage, and office policies
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure timely patient care and smooth office operations
- Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and professional at all times
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a dental front desk role is mandatory.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.
- Familiarity with dental practice management software is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of dental and medical terminology relevant to patient care.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and administrative procedures in a dental or medical office.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail for scheduling and record keeping.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills for interacting with patients, staff, and insurance providers.
- Ability to manage a multi-line phone system and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
