We are currently seeking an experienced Metal Esimator /Inside Sales to join our team.
The ideal candidate has experience in metal fabrication, and is comfortable preparing quotations from technical drawings, can manage multiple customer inquiries simultaneously, and has strong customer service and administrative skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer Requests for Quotes (RFQs) accurately and promptly.
- Build a new customer database and maintain relationships with existing customers.
- Review purchase orders, enter sales, release jobs for manufacturing, then monitor jobs through completion.
- Maintain stock orders
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Understand manufacturing processes and customer-specific requirements.
- Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams.
- Ensure accuracy, organization, and compliance with company safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of inside sales and/or estimating experience.
- Experience in a steel fabrication or metal manufacturing environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
