Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting beer and wine products that meet their preferences.
- Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments.
- Maintain the merchandising of products on shelves, ensuring displays are attractive and well-stocked.
- Conduct product demos when applicable to educate customers about new or featured items.
- Upsell additional products or accessories to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and organize stock rooms efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, offering recommendations, and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the store to ensure a welcoming shopping environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and store policies to ensure a secure shopping experience for customers and staff.
Skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Bilingual abilities (English and additional languages) are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele.
- Experience with retail sales, cashiering, POS systems, and cash handling procedures.
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques to create appealing displays.
