Glenwood Labels has been in business for over 50 years, we are well established and one of the largest label manufacturing printing companies in Western Canada.
We are looking for a Flexographic Press Operator to join our team who is mechanically inclined, organized, and works well in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Setup jobs and operate multi colour flexographic presses, for custom label production.
- Mixing Inks
- Mounting Plates
- Mounting Dies
- Printing jobs according to job ticket instructions
- Matching print quality and colours
- Work well with other members of staff
- Must be able to carry 50 lbs
- Maintain equipment to ensure high quality printing
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills are required
- Carry out the directives of management
- Ability to work overtime as requested
- Ability to work afternoon/evening shifts/weekends
Experience:
- 2 years Flexographic or Litho/Offset printing
- Water-based and/or solvent-based ink handling experience an asset
- Comfortable with measurements in imperial systems
- Mechanically inclined and a logical thinker

Starting Rate: $25.00 - $30.00 (Depending on experience)
